1. Pregnancy Transitons

Simple ways to move from standing to hands and knees, and from hands and knees to sitting or lying down. These transitions will help to keep the pelvis stable and safe including for anyone with PGP/SPD pelvis issues. Get into the habit of transitioning like this throughout your pregnancy.

2. 4 safe options for lying down

4 different ways to lie down comfortably and safely - whether in bed or for relaxation. Not just on your left side, this will give you a variety of options to try out.

3. How to move from side to side in bed

Moving around in bed can be tricky and uncomfortable, and even more so if you have any kind of pelvic discomfort. This video will show you safe and comfortable ways to move from one side to the other in bed without adding stress to the pelvis and hips.

You will have access to all the above practices for just one payment of £24

The benefits of practising yoga at home:

A home practice can never quite replace a face to face class with a teacher, who will keep an eye on you, keep you safe and help you with adjustments. A class also gives you a community of mums-to-be in your area. But a home practice can be useful if you can’t get to a local class and is also helpful between classes to support the aches, pains and challenges of pregnancy.

  • You can practice anytime

  • You don’t need much space - just a rectangle for your mat

  • You can do ten minutes or an hour depending on what time you have

  • You can choose your practice and what poses you’d like to do

  • It keeps your yoga going between face to face classes

  • it supports you pregnancy, confidence and wellbeing.

These videos are intended to support the yoga that you experience in your regular weekly face-to-face class, but they can be used as a stand alone practice. Please make sure that you have been cleared to practice yoga by your medical professional before you begin and please read https://www.breathingspace-yoga.com/medicaldisclaimer
