Yoga makes you feel happy, healthy, alive!

I teach from a basis of Hatha Yoga. This means we spend time exploring poses, rather than flowing from one pose to another. I take my inspiration from a range of yoga styles and teachers to create joyful and mindful yoga classes.

I aim to help students to find good alignment to help a safe practice and to be supportive of each student as an individual so that they become aware if their own respective needs to empower and uplift.

Classes are a a balance of energising and relaxing through yoga poses, breath and meditation techniques and above all fun!

You are welcome whether you are a beginner or an experienced yoga student.

In my classes you will always have a warm up at the beginning and relaxation at the end of class. In between you will find a mix of yoga poses, sometimes linked in a flowing sequence (vinyasa) and sometimes staying in a pose for a few breaths to work more deeply on alignment and feel the pose more deeply. You will always be guided by the breath and mindfully of good alignment to help you stretch safely for your body. I encourage you to challenge yourself within poses, always giving alternatives for you to work at the right pace and level for your body. I also teach breathing (pranayama), yoga nidra and meditation within class.

I really look forward to each session, it has made a big difference to my life. I feel calmer, more flexible, toned and more aware of my body and breathing. Would highly recommend!

  • Continuing these positive effects beyond the yoga practice to become more permanent in everyday life.
