In Baby Yoga “we sing to relax our bodies, release our tensions, lift our spirits and delight our babies” Sally Lomas

A favourite song in class is Mr Sun. We combine the song with arm movements by the parents to engage babies, make a loving touch connection and put a smile on everyone’s face.  Here are the words and actions for you to try yourself.

Sit in a comfortable position on the floor or bed with your baby lying on their back in front of you.

(Make big arm circles overhead) (cover your face then uncover and smile at baby – boo!)

These little babies are asking you,

To please come out so they can play with you,
(stretch the other arm out and wiggle your fingers for baby to follow)
